26th October 2011 - Work-shop in Budapest

On the 26th of October 2011 Mahatma Gandhi Human Rights Organization participated in a work-shop organized by the Foundation of Subjective Values in Budapest, Hungary. The workshop dealt with extremism and xenophobia against immigrants in Central Europe.

The event consisted of a number of presentations gives by representatives of organizations which are committed to the fight against xenophobia. The organizations were from Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Germany.

Mr. Deen, president of the Mahatma Gandhi Human Rights Organization, was on a panel of experts which presented on the issues of xenophobia against migrants in Hungary. He presented mostly on the experience of refugees and asylum seekers that live in Hungary. He talked about the issues they are facing and how the Mahatma Gandhi Human Rights Organization tries to address these issues.
