Dear friends,

Football can play an important role in empowering and educating communities. Come take a stand against discrimination during the @farenet #FootballPeople weeks! Mahatma Gandhi Human Rights Organization is organizing a football tournament in order to raise awareness about discrimination and racism in sports. The main goal is to overcome cultural differences, communication difficulties and to help to integrate minorities into Hungarian society. Participation is free! So do not hesitate and join us! Feel free to share this event with your family, friends or colleagues.

When: Monday, 16th of October 2017

Where: Vajda Péter Ének-zenei Általános és Sportiskola (address: Vajda Péter u. 25-31., 1089 Budapest)

At what time: 14:00

Program:

14:00 – 16:00 – football matches for children

16:00 – 17:00 – football matches for adults

17:15 – 18:15 – roundtable meeting for representatives

FARE Action Weeks are organized every year in October by FARE (Football People Against Racism in Europe) and they last for 2 weeks. This event aims to unite supporters, clubs, ethnic minorities and communities affected by discrimination in Europe in an effort to make discrimination a thing of the past. The Football People weeks challenge all forms of discrimination, promote integration values amongst youth and celebrate the input of all individuals that strive to make football a game for all, regardless of who we are, where we are from and what our beliefs are.
